Assisting in management and contract administration of construction work. Carry out supervision of all works as per approved method statements. Oversee and support the engineering survey (Topographical Survey and Sub soil investigation). Examine Contractor’s preparation and the completed position of work as per ‘request for inspection’ and promptly advise the contractor. Monitor closely and regularly the progress of work and report to the TL/Executive Engineer of districts. Carry out regular inspection of Contractor’s equipment, plant. machinery, installations, housing and medical facilities. Direct Contractor to carry out works, as may be necessary, to avoid or reduce the task in case of any emergency. Supervise the Contractor on all matters concerning the safety of works, workmen and environmental aspects and labor welfare. Witness sampling and testing being carried out by staff of the Contractor to ensure quality. Monitor and review the test results/certificates for all construction materials and/or sources of materials, and report to TL. Examine the requests for advances and monthly statements of contractors and interim payment certificates.

Review and monitor achievements in output, outcome and impact levels in DPP and log frame. Review and monitoring of ancillary matters including manpower required for operation and maintenance of facilities (products, infrastructure and services) created under the project. Review and monitoring whether the various products, works and services procured under the project have been procured through necessary inspection/verification as per the specifications/BOQ/TOR, quality, quantity stipulated in the relevant purchase agreement. Reviewing and monitoring project audit activities (internal audit, external audit, audit objections such as: how many audits and how much money etc.). Prepare complete feasibility study report with conclusion and recommendations by following the feasibility study format approved by ECNEC Bangladesh.
